Moments and memories:

My first and only official try came in the spring 2006 season (my junior year). We were playing a home game aginst Molloy (their third or fourth game as a team). I ended up getting tossed the ball as I came off of a ruck out on the wing, and I ran full speed at the try-line. The only thing between me and the try was Molly's winger, Kevin, who bravely dropped a shoulder and launched his 170-lb frame

into my 270-lb gut. Momentum carried me into the try zone, but I had no time to relish in the moment. As I stood, my stomach twisted from the impact and I ran off the field to the cheers of the home crowd. Ripping my jersey over my head at the last minute, I ran to the sideline and immediately began vomitting all over the sidelines right in front of a group of B&G workers and their families who came out to support us that day. I puked for almost five minutes, and I caused a poor little girl who was there to start crying and hide behind her brothers and sisters. Later that night Moody and I brought the Zulu tradition back to Bard right into the Spring Fling concert

"BardStock" with two Molloy players who stayed to party with us as the newly formed women's team made the channel and poured beer all over us.
