2007/8 ROSTER HEAD COACH BRIAN WOLF Brian is a graduate of Bard College and a former member of the men’s rugby team. Since graduating in 2005 with a concentration in music, he has played 15-a-side rugby in New Zealand, India, and the United States as a member of Wanderers RFC (Nelson, New Zealand), Jungle Crows (Kolkata, India), and the Chicago Lions, and 7-a-side rugby in Fiji with Nawaka Rugby Club. Brian recently returned from Kolkata, India, where he was a player/coach for the Jungle Crows and coached several youth teams from the NGO children’s home Ashalayam, including the Ashalayam Pirate Ants during their 2007 match tour of France. Counted among his former coaches are American coach Marty Wiggins, USA sevens coach Al Caravelli, Fiji sevens player Sailosi Nawavu, Jaco Visser, and Tim Lewis. He has played alongside Fiji sevens team players; former under 21 international reps from New Zealand, Ireland, and England; and members of Heineken Cup, Super 14, and Air New Zealand Cup squads. Additional playing experience came as a member of Midwest Sevens, Northeast Sevens, Northeast Collegiate, Metropolitan New York representative sides, as well as with the White Plains/NYCONN Crusaders and Albany Knicks.
